We understand that co-parenting can be difficult, so we’ve created a one-stop child expense tracker to make things easier. With Onward, you can now avoid awkward text messages about money and easily add expenses, share them, and pay your co-parent back right from within the app!

Onward also helps you and your co-parent see what you are spending on your children to help you improve transparency and better plan for your children’s future. That means you can ditch the messy budgeting and expense spreadsheets!

- Visualize Your Financial Plan
Onward tracks your expenses and generates automated reports to support you in better understanding your overall spending. You and your co-parent can view the expense report by month, child, and category to understand how much you are spending on your children to better plan and budget for each of your futures.

My #1 tool for better coparenting- This app has been a game-changer for communication with my ex! We had been trying (and failing miserably) to track expenses for the kids through text messages for years. Now I can just take a picture of a receipt, choose how we want it split, and he gets a notification to pay it back, and vice versa. The whole process takes less than a minute. The reports are super helpful too!

I have a love-hate relationship w this app. Pros: • It makes keeping track of expenses a lot simpler so my co-parent can see what's what since we are linked. • I can specify which child expenses are for. • I can adjust the split either by $ or %. Cons: • it will have moments of "autocorrect" where it duplicates or deletes letters in words. • The UI will mess up & screens for input won't load • The service is strictly app-based I would love to be able to upload expenses via website...

Thanks for your feedback, Diana! We are proud of all 'pros' you've captured in your review, and how the app is helping you with your co-parent. We're investigating building a desktop app as well. Unfortunately, certain devices have rendering issues that aren't caught in our QA. Our commitment is to continue to improve the app on an on-going basis!

I've been using the app for a few months now and I'm finally at a point where I want to connect a bank acct for my co-parent to make payments. Instead of just being able to log into my bank acct online and allowing the connection, I have to take it a step further and email the app company and send them a copy of my driver's license. That's makes me uneasy. I thought I verified enough online but now I have to send personal info straight to Onward. Nah, no thank you.
